Local TIP

This panoramic table-top path, located northwest of Moab along the route to Dead Horse Point and the Island in the Sky District of Canyonlands National Park, contains camps located within a pine / juniper forest. Easy access to both Dead Horse Point State Park and Canyonlands make these sites a popular alternative to camps within the park that are often filled in advance. These BLM camps are received for the first time, they are first served with picnic tables, fire rings and vault baths. There is no water, showers or connections. Some sites are large enough for RVs. A fee is charged (cash or check only).
